WHAT IS HUMAN CAPITAL
‘Human Capital’ is an economic metaphor for the knowledge, skills and health of individuals through which they seek to better their lives.
In today's global knowledge-based economy, Human Capital is not surprisingly center-stage: for employability and earnings capacity at the individual level, for business competitiveness at the firm level, and for a nation's overall economic prosperity. At the national level, Human Capital is the largest category of wealth, especially in most developed nations, where it is estimated at between 60% and 80% of National Wealth (IWR 2018).
For our Human Capital assessment, we economically value the contribution of the company towards the human capital development and wellbeing of its employees.
